How does the Women’s Health hormone test work?

Learn how the Women’s Health Add-On works — from scheduling your blood test to your personal consultation with a women’s health expert.

Updated over 2 months ago

📅 Step 1: Schedule Your Blood Test

Book your appointment at CARE between day 2 and day 5 of your menstrual cycle for the most accurate results.
👉 Day 1 = the first day of normal bleeding.

🧪 Step 2: Hormone Analysis
We measure a broad panel of hormones that influence your cycle, symptoms, and overall well-being, including:

  • Estradiol

  • Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH)

  • Prolactin

  • DHEA-S

  • Total & Free Testosterone

  • SHBG

  • Albumin

These biomarkers provide a comprehensive picture of your hormonal health.

👩‍⚕️ Step 3: Exclusive Consultation with a Women’s Health Expert
Once your results are ready, you’ll receive an email with a link to book your personal consultation.

This isn’t a standard check-up:

  • You’ll meet our Women's Health doctor

  • Together, you’ll connect your results with your symptoms, cycle, and personal goals (family planning, skin health, energy, well-being).

Why it’s unique: This type of in-depth hormone consultation is rarely offered in routine gynecology. CARE gives you a holistic, personalised view of your hormonal health.

📑 If You Also Booked a Full Body Check-Up
Please note: your Women’s Health Add-On and Full Body Check-Up are reviewed by different medical teams.

  • You’ll receive two separate reports at two different times.

  • Depending on your results, you may also have two separate consultations.

This ensures you get the specialised expertise required for each type of analysis.

📝 How to Prepare for Your Consultation
To make the most of your session:

  • 🗓️ Cycle info: Note the first day of your last period and your typical cycle length (or irregularities).

  • 📝 Track symptoms: Mood, sleep, skin, weight, cycle changes…

  • 🎯 Set your goals: Family planning, energy, well-being, skin health.

  • Write down your questions: Anything about hormones, your cycle, or your health.

  • 💊 List medications & supplements: Bring an overview of what you currently take.

  • Choose a calm setting: Ensure time and space for a relaxed conversation.

Next step: Keep an eye on your inbox — as soon as your results are in, you’ll be able to book your consultation.
