The optimal time to take this test is around day 21 of your menstrual cycle.
✅ This recommendation applies to women with a regular 28-day cycle.
✅ For other cycle lengths, adjust the timing as follows, subtract 7 days from your average cycle length
👉 Example: If your average cycle is 33 days, your blood sample should be taken around day 26 (+/- 1 day).
Remember: Day 1 of your cycle = the first day of normal bleeding.
How do I book an ovulation test? 📅
You can book your Ovulation Test online, either on its own or together with a Full Body Check-Up. Simply plan your appointment for around day 21 of your cycle (or the adjusted day if your cycle is longer/shorter).
⚠️ Important before booking:
The Ovulation Add-On is not suitable if you are currently using hormonal contraception or if you’ve only stopped within the last 2–3 months.
Hormonal contraception (pill, Nuvaring, Implanon, 3-month injections, hormonal IUDs) alters hormone levels and can make results less reliable.
What if my period is irregular or delayed?
If your period is delayed and the test no longer falls around day 21:
You can reschedule your appointment to a later date.
If you still want to complete your other booked services, you can attend your appointment as planned. Then simply inform CARE ([email protected]) that you need to move the Ovulation Test, and we’ll help you arrange a second blood draw according to your cycle.
