Learn how to get ready for your appointment to ensure accurate results and a smooth experience.

Updated over 2 months ago

After booking your lab visit, you’ll receive an email with recommendations tailored to the specific service you booked. This email will also include a medical questionnaire — please complete it before your appointment to help us stay on schedule and provide the best care.

Preparation Tips

Fasting 🍽️
Arrive in a fasting state (8–12 hours without food) to ensure accurate results.

Hydration 💧
You may drink water or black coffee. Staying hydrated makes the process smoother and faster — we recommend starting your day with a glass of water.

Physically Prepare 🏃‍♂️🚫
The evening before, avoid:

  • Intense exercise

  • Alcohol

  • Excessive water intake

  • Fatty meals

  • Omega-3-rich foods (e.g., salmon, tuna, herring)

You should stick to your usual eating and sleeping routines.

Bladder 🚻
Arrive with an empty bladder. Toilets are available on-site if needed.

Clothing 👕
Wear lighter clothing for your comfort and convenience.

Medication & Supplements 💊
Continue taking your medications and supplements as usual — do not stop them. This ensures we can accurately assess your health.

  • If you are taking creatine, inform the medical professional before the blood draw.

  • Please pause thyroid medication 2 hours before your appointment.
